”I got married in May of 2011. I had very grand plans for what I wanted my wedding to be! I hired Karen as my wedding planner. From the moment she came to me my husband and I, we instantantly loved her! Not only was she knowledgeable, insightful and helpful but you could tell that she LOVES what she does. She is passionate about weddings! She stayed with us for hours that day and came to check out the venue with us, all before we had even hired her! Once we did officially hire her we were constantly amazed with the level of service we were offered. We also hired her to display one of her beautiful candy bars from “Sinfully Sweet”, and ordered cake pops from her husbands company “JJ’s”. The day of my wedding (and every other day up to our wedding) she made sure went smoothly. I had nothing at all to worry about and knew that I could put everything in her hands! Our wedding day was PERFECT! Karen and her staff transformed our venue into a beautiful heaven!!! The girls were on top of everything and stayed until the very end! The candy bar and cake pops were spectacular and a huge hit!!! I interviewed quite a few wedding planners before I got to Karen but as soon as I spoke to her I was sold!!!! I was worried initially that coming from upstate Westchester would be quite a hike for her but she didn’t care!!! She is the most amazing wedding planner a girl could ask for her, and I would recommend her a million times more!!!! ”-Dena Leigh

Starting with the first of our many many many phone calls Karin’s energy enthusiasm and love for her profession showed through. I live in Ohio and my daughter lives in NY. Long-distance planning for a hands-on person like me is extremely difficult. Karin understood this. ”I am a writer and still cannot put into words how much Karin did for me! She didn’t just arrange my wedding and take the vague shadows of ideas I had and turned it into something stunning. She was my sounding board, my therapist, my life coach during a time that should have been joyous and exciting. There was a great deal of physical and emotional upheaval in the few months prior to my wedding. She would call or email me every few days just to see how I was doing. As soon as we picked out the venue for our reception, I really didnt have a clue where to start, working 2 jobs & living about 2 hrs away from the area, I knew I needed to find someone to help me. ”I hired Karin Hlywiak as my Day-of Wedding Coordinator after my husband and I had discussed with his brother all the things we had to do for our wedding. We thought we could cater the wedding ourselves, make all the decorations, and do all the decorating. My brother-in-law thought we were crazy. It turned out that hiring Karin was the best decision we made! Though we did make our centerpieces, favors, and faux cake, Karin took care of setting everything up and cleaning it up at the end of the night. She dealt with any last minute changes needed and even reminded me about my throw-away boquet, which I had forgotten. The decorations at the reception site were absolutely gorgeous with draped tulle and lights, garlands of leaves, pumpkins, guords and potted mums. Karin made sure my husband and I were happy and enjoying our party. She checked in with us throughout the night and even made up dessert plates for us so that we wouldn’t miss out on anything. She made sure the restaurant served warm apple cider for the cocktail hour and not boiled apple cider as well ensured the desserts were brought at the end of the evening instead of sitting out all night. She did such a good job and I don’t think the guests even knew she was there; she was so discreet and professional. Because of Karin my husband and I were able to relax at our rehearsal dinner the night before and enjoy our perfect reception. We couldn’t have been any happier.”-Jennifer Higgins
